We are a locally owned Liquor Store in beautiful Fruita, Colorado. Home of summer excitement and adventure for locals and tourists wishing to bask in the beautiful Colorado sunshine. Our store carries a large variety of wines, spirits, domestic and craft beers. We take a great deal of pride in being a fast and friendly Retail Liquor Store. We want to greet every customer as they come in and welcome them. It's crucial for our customers to feel comfortable and be able to ask questions. We may be in the liquor business, but service is our number one product.
In The Middle Liquors is looking for a Front Desk Clerk / Stocker. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an individual who is a self-starter, a team encourager, and has a root tooting get'er done attitude.
The Front Desk Position is responsible for final sales for the customer. We have a Liquor POS System with customer club cards. It will also be necessary for the Front Desk Position to ensure compliance with liquor sales laws.
The ideal candidate will engage guests on wine, spirits, or beer selections to accompany any occasion and create an enjoyable shopping experience while helping maximize sales.
Knowledge of LiquorPOS would also be beneficial for a candidate.
Education: High school diploma or GED certificate. In addition to education, we would like someone with several years of experience in liquor sales, or the bartending industry.
This position will expose you to the cooler, 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit, while handling products and performing inventory functions. Employees may also be in a sitting or standing position for prolonged hours. An employee is required to frequently stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. In addition, the employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The job's specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
